The method is unique in the fact that, if you are unable to move your body in a certain way because of some sort of physical or mental restriction the positions are adapted to impact your body in a productive and efficient way rather than using force to form the body to the shape of the pose. This is possible because the method uses natural movements to increase mobility and return the body and mind to their natural structure and functionality.
