By Kelly Flynn, new Kaiut practitioner
I've been practicing yoga for many years now. One of my favourite places to be is on my mat. It's the calm in everyday hustle and bustle. Two weeks ago, I would have said the best yoga for me was in a hot room. Now, after my first dive into Kaiut yoga – I know the best yoga for me has nothing to do with the temperature of a room or the poses. It's the deep connection between the body and mind. Kaiut yoga practice spoke to me in a way I can't quite describe in words. It was an awakening of sorts. Not only did the sequences of movements open me up physically, it opened me up emotionally. The experience is still resonating. It's a workout - practice of equal measure for mind and body. As a new comer to Kaiut, my initial take away has been I need to expect more from my yoga. Though my 7-day journey has come to an end, I am joyfully ready to embark on the new journey that lays ahead. Bring on the learning.
