I live in downtown Toronto and so my house is tiny. And of course it's jam packed with stuff. It's amazing how much stuff a family of four accumulates and seemingly 'needs'.
With very little free space in the house, finding space to practice yoga is a little challenging. As I went to practice this morning I had this funny thought... I wish yoga didn't require so much space! LOL
And then I got to thinking that finding space to practice yoga is really about finding space for me. While my yoga corner is a corner in my home office, the whole room doesn't feel like me but that corner does.
And finding space for yoga isn't only about where, it's also about when. This week my husband is away so the kids are all on me, I'm working, I'm organizing the fall Kaiut event, and I have family visiting from out of town. But getting up this morning and practicing before the day starts simply makes sense.
So I'm fitting it in. Here, there and everywhere.
